Shiva fox by Minskin Shiva fox by Minskin
In the middle of this morning, wen I was just writing a Jung essay, the postman delivered a "Parciiil!". Maybe I should name him the collective unconscious.
Braveheart-Taxidermy agreed on making him come to life and mounted him according to my quirky wishes. He did a lovely job because no matter from which angle you look at him, one of his eyes always seems to be fixed on you. And I love the shape of the muzzle. To me, he's perfect.
He's got the all-seeing eye and he's looking so grimly because he's found out all my secrets by now
When I got him back, even after a long time, I could immediately relate to him. I haven't always had that feeling when I received something.

The name was accidental, though I will keep it that way. No, Shiva doesn't have five eyes lol but he's colloquially 'the Shiva fox' because I will take him to a festival with me where they got Shiva drinks. And somehow, that got mixed up.

More images, also the sweet way he was boxed ~D

He is gorgeous!  What a nicely done photograph, too. The tiny blue flowers match his eyes so perfectly.  I'm glad you are so happy with him.  You will get mobbed when you take him out in public!

I didn't intend the blue flowers to be so visible ~D
He turned out so lovely
Positively or negatively mobbed?^^'
I find it so strange with them...that Goa community partially is absolutely against fur and then the other half totally is never know.

Definitely positively mobbed. I know I've said this before, but the same people who might spit on me for wearing a fur coat are okay with my soft mounts.  It is respectful to preserve their bodies through taxidermy, whereas if you wear a fur coat, it can seem demeaning-like all they are good for is 'decorations'. Does that make sense?

It absolutely makes sense to me.

I don't want to give people a bad time when they suddenly see that mount and are shocked but I have started to think a little more on this entire thing when last year, they had a poll on the festival site where a visitor asked people what they thought of walking around naked there.
And there were people among the repliers who stated that when they're dancing and suddenly see a naked body it totally throws them and they feel disgusted.
Isn't that sad? We were all born naked and it's natural and society's done a good job to spoil their and everyone else's bodies for them forever.
I know, softmounting isn't something natural XD but I just remembered that topic when writing about the perception of others.

They felt disgusted?! I would be amazed and amused! If a guy started to jerk off on me or something mildly threatening it would be different, but just naked-nah!  I had a  skating friend who lived in a Nudist colony for a while, so I'm probably more enlightened than your average up-tight American.  I hope that doesn't sound like I'm bragging? Its just that after talking to this friend about the whole  Nudist Colony culture, I  realized  that its not about hot-monkey sex all the time! Its much more about accepting each other for who we are, and not how we look.  Okay, I'm done preaching now...

I know T_T
It's almost like therapy, running around naked. I would never do that at a rock festival or somewhere where I just feel it's not the kind of place "suited" for that.  But when there are courses offered about opening up your horizon and self-healing I believe it's a suited place.
I'm not doing that for anyone but myself because I don't really have the most model-like body either ~D But the most beautiful experience was someone walking by while I was waiting for the fire brigade to give us a cold shower, saying with a big smile "Dear, you look so at peace with yourself, so beautiful". I realized then that it's not about the look, about measurements or conventions. We're so used to hiding behind fabric that we feel naked when being naked. Although we aren't lol

I know I hide behind fabric a lot.  I think its one of the reasons I can hardly stand myself in any color other than black (except for jeans). Do I think I'll be less noticeable in black?  This topic reminds me of this fellow who is hiding behind his black cloak of despair.…; Some days I wish I could have a cloak of invisibility like in the Harry Potter movies! By the way, I liked your pun about"the kind of place 'suited' for that."

Da ist er ja, bin froh das er dir so gut gefällt, er war schon eine Herausforderung was die Augen angeht X3
Du musst mir aber mal erklären was ein Shiva Drink ist O.o
Minskin Featured By Owner Jun 10, 2016   Traditional Artist
Sicher nichts, was du noch einmal machen musst ;)
